Spiritual Mentors

If guidance on your spiritual path is desired, we have Spiritual Companions from a variety of backgrounds available (starting in summer 2022).

Envisioning Your Days

After arriving (between 3-4:00 pm), you can settle into your guesthouse before dinner is served at 5:30 pm. After this  homemade meal, you might like to explore the grounds and facilities: the pond and little stream, the labyrinth, the quaint meditation chapel or areas overlooking the lake. Before retiring for the evening, you might like to have a look through the library (opening summer in 2022), where you can relax with a book.

In the morning after breakfast at 8:00 am, you might enjoy a stroll around Westwood Lake where you’ll find bluffs with a spectacular view of the lake and Mt. Benson. Feel free to pick up a cup of coffee or tea before lunch. In the afternoon, you might like to schedule a meeting with a spiritual companion, with whom you can explore questions and insights that emerge during your retreat. Then you may like to do some journaling on your own to capture some of the insights from your conversation. After dinner, the gardens are a perfect place to read, watch the sun go down. There are also many meditative spots you might like to visit for your spiritual practices.

The morning is a beautiful time to walk the labyrinth, an ancient tool for walking meditation, and a symbol of your personal journey and spiritual renewal.

What people are saying…

“Every day I meditated in the chapel, walked the labyrinth, and several days walked around Westwood Lake. I even swam in the lake the past two glorious days. I feel blessed! I’ve had four days in this loving atmosphere to go deeper and to reconnect with the divine energy and beauty within and all around.”

“This is a beautiful Centre – surrounded by magnificent creation – conducive to healing which is what I was seeking. I love the little chapel in the basement…it feels so safe and secure.”
