Jeanne Corrigal

Jeanne Corrigal is the guiding teacher for the Saskatoon Insight Meditation Community and a member of the True North Guiding Teacher Council. She is a graduate of the 2017–2021 IMS teacher training program.

Her training is primarily in the Burmese lineage of Mahasi Sayadaw, with a deep appreciation for the Thai Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah and the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. She is a certified MBSR teacher and certified in Indigenous Focusing Oriented Trauma Therapy (IFOT), and has also trained with Mindful Schools and Somatic Experiencing.

She teaches retreats across North America and has contributed to programs with Mindfulness Magazine, Lion’s Roar, and Tricycle. She is Métis, and one of her earliest teachers in loving presence was Cree Elder Jim Settee.
