Trevor Potter
Trevor Potter has been on a lifelong journey exploring the rich interplay between science, ecology, spirituality, and the numinous, healing relationships of the natural world. This path has led him to a deep calling for the ecological and cultural healing of our planet.
He finds delight in the sensuous, living world and the ways our more-than-human kin offer us relationship, reflection, and healing.
Trevor is experienced in leading retreats, guiding mindfulness, meditation, and contemplative practices, and facilitating both groups and individuals in the art of deep listening.
His academic and professional background includes a BSc in Botany and a Master of Ministry in Spirituality. He has also trained in Shambhala Meditation, Systems Theory, and Leadership Development. Trevor is a Certified Forest Therapy and Nature Connection Guide, as well as a trained Labyrinth Facilitator.
His personal nature connection practice is a wellspring of balance, grounding, and resilience. In the forest, he finds his mind slowing, his senses awakening, and a deep reconnection to his body and the rhythms of the earth. This is where some of his most profound integration and healing have taken place.
Trevor believes that deep nature connection practices — especially when shared in community — have the power to mend the fractures of isolation, restore relationship to self and others, and rekindle a sense of belonging to the living world. These practices offer a powerful antidote to the impacts of social and ecological disconnection.
