The A.R.T. of Inner Peace: 7-Week Class for Seniors
With Ralph Frank
April 2 - May 14, 2026
Take a gentle, ongoing journey into mindfulness, gratitude, and inner calm as we explore how the ancient wisdom of Buddhist meditation can support the changing seasons of aging. Our sessions will follow The A.R.T. of Inner Peace framework:
- A – Arrival in the present moment
- R – Relaxing in the awareness of body, movement, and breath
- T – Thankfulness for the unfolding of each moment
Together, we’ll cultivate these beautiful states of mind, allowing inner peace to unfold naturally—step by step, moment by moment.
Each week includes guided sitting meditations, reflection, and mindful movement inspired by Qigong (the cultivation of internal life energy) and Tai Chi. All movements are gentle, accessible, and easily adapted to all physical limitations, nurturing both body and mind.
Ralph offers simple, practical ways to bring these mindful practices into daily life, helping you meet challenges with calm, clarity, and a healthy dose of humour—rather than slipping into old reactive patterns.
Classes are held at the beautiful Bethlehem Centre on Westwood Lake. When spring weather permits, we’ll bring our practice outdoors, awakening the senses and connecting more deeply with nature.
This series is also a chance to connect with a warm, supportive community of seniors, sharing experiences and encouragement along the way. Whether you’re new to meditation or wish to deepen your practice, this class offers a friendly, approachable path toward mindfulness, gratitude, and well-being.
